Are Pakistan — and in particular Karachi, along with all Major Cities and Public Institutions of the Country — Ranked in any Global Index at a Level that is Truly Commendable and Worthy of National Pride?
The United Krachistan Movement (UKM), in accordance with international standards and based on the principle of self-reliance, shall undertake practical measures for the comprehensive reformist and revolutionary redevelopment of Krachistan.
The Movement shall struggle for the welfare, protection, and promotion of social, political, educational, and economic rights, and for securing a dignified and modern status for Krachistan and its people, in line with contemporary global standards.
The objectives relating to Krachistan, Pakistan, and the world are outlined below:
The United Krachistan Movement shall engage directly with the people of Karachi and, with the assistance of constitutional and legal experts, prepare a comprehensive report on how the Constitution of Pakistan can play a fundamental role in the development and prosperity of Karachi.
Where necessary, formal engagement shall be initiated with relevant institutions to propose reform-oriented constitutional amendments. At present, the constitutional benefits of Pakistan are not reaching the people of Karachi, in clear violation of their constitutional rights.
Renaming the Great City of Karachi as “Krachistan”:
The United Krachistan Movement shall formally launch a public campaign to expand and transform the current name “Karachi” in accordance with the city’s vast scale and historical significance.
The proposed new name, “Krachistan”, or any better and more suitable alternative, shall be selected through public consultation and constitutionally and legally formalized. The name “Krachistan” represents a symbolic synthesis of Karachi and Pakistan. Formal correspondence shall be addressed to all relevant authorities, including the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Chairman Senate, Speaker National Assembly, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Field Marshal of Pakistan, Provincial Chief Ministers, Governors, Chief Justices, chambers of commerce, Urdu Dictionary Board, university vice chancellors, media organizations, and political and religious leaders, to ensure collective consultation on this matter.
The United Krachistan Movement believes that for national stability, and for the peace, satisfaction, development, prosperity, and future of Karachi’s citizens, an independent and impartial referendum—within constitutional and legal limits—has become inevitable.
After nationwide consultation, a countrywide public outreach campaign shall be launched to address the following priority questions:
Social, Economic, Industrial, and Educational Revolution from Krachistan:
Following constitutional and legal transformation, the United Krachistan Movement shall ignite a social, economic, industrial, and educational revolution under the new identity of Krachistan—setting an example for all of Pakistan. Comprehensive reforms shall address healthcare, education, employment, housing, transport, water, electricity, gas, inflation control, sewage, population management, encroachment removal, infrastructure development, urban beautification, law and order, coastal and maritime utilization, and the establishment of high-quality old-age homes.
Krachistan shall be developed as a secure, terrorism-free international city, offering all modern facilities necessary for a peaceful and dignified life.
Promotion of Trade, Industry, Business, Construction, Fisheries, Tourism, and Agriculture:
The United Krachistan Movement shall prioritize the complete promotion of trade, industry, business, construction, fisheries, tourism, and agriculture, ensuring full facilitation for all economic activities.
Oppressive taxation on water, electricity, gas, and transportation shall be abolished. Full cooperation shall be extended to all business, industrial, and commercial organizations related to Karachi, and all obstacles shall be confronted decisively.
Appointment of Qualified Business and Industrial Professionals as President and Governors:
The Movement shall demand that non-political, competent individuals from trade and industry be appointed as President of Pakistan and Provincial Governors, to stabilize Pakistan’s economy at the international level and positively influence political and social governance.
Ensuring Law and Order through Trade and Industry Leadership:
The Movement shall demand that a qualified individual from Karachi’s trade and industry sector be appointed—upon approval of the President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry—as an Honorary Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, with full authority and adequate staff.
Additionally, the President of the Karachi Chamber shall be vested with full magisterial powers to ensure peace and security for business activities. This model should be extended to all chambers of commerce across Pakistan.
Federal Minister–Equivalent Status for the President of FPCCI:
For international economic recognition, the Movement shall demand that the President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) be granted status equivalent to a Federal Minister.
Provincial Minister–Equivalent Status for Presidents of All Chambers:
The Movement shall demand that the Presidents of all Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Pakistan be granted status equivalent to Provincial Ministers.
Complete Rule of Law in Krachistan:
The Movement shall work with relevant institutions to expand police manpower and grant enhanced authority to ensure absolute law and order, eradicate crime, and confront extremism and terrorism with zero tolerance—while fully cooperating with law enforcement agencies and the judiciary.
Protection of the Public Mandate:
Through organized public power and pressure, the Movement shall compel elected representatives at all levels to honor the public mandate and electoral promises, within moral, constitutional, and legal frameworks. Public pressure shall be exercised only under unavoidable circumstances.
. United Krachistan Development Council & Krachistan SuoMotu Supreme Council:
Under the Movement, these councils shall maintain continuous public engagement, conduct independent analysis of civic issues, and submit monthly actionable reports to the Head Office for collective resolution of Krachistan’s problems.
Constitution, Law, and Islamic Ideology:
The United Krachistan Movement shall not act against the Constitution of Pakistan, the law, or Islamic ideology, and shall never encourage illegal or unethical activitiesAfter completing the Krachistan Development Project, the Movement shall announce a comprehensive strategy for the completion and revival of Pakistan, including:
Through its strategic framework, the United Krachistan Movement shall seek meaningful cooperation from international institutions and Pakistan-friendly nations for Krachistan and Pakistan.
The Movement shall also take practical initiatives to assist oppressed migrants and refugees worldwide, to halt wars and bloodshed, and to establish a truly weapon-free, peaceful global order.
The United Krachistan Movement (UKM) shall formally submit the following written, reasoned, and evidence-based policy proposals to the relevant institutions for immediate implementation, concerning Karachi and its people:

Any individual holding a valid National Identity Card may apply for General Membership or Special Membership on the prescribed form.
Due to the sanctity of the Holy Qur’an, no oath of any kind shall ever be required for membership.
All members, office-bearers, and affiliates shall be personally responsible for their conscience and actions.
There shall be no place in the United Krachistan Movement for:
If any member or office-bearer is found involved in illegal activities, disciplinary action shall be taken under the organizational framework. The Movement shall bear no responsibility for such illegal acts, nor shall it provide organizational or legal protection. Members may leave the Movement at any time, preferably through written notification. Unexplained inactivity for thirty (30) days shall be deemed as voluntary dissociation. Rejoining the Movement after dissociation shall not be permitted under any circumstances.
Individuals affiliated with any political party, religious organization, NGO, or institution may obtain Honorary and Voluntary Special Membership, while retaining their original affiliation, subject to written permission (NOC) from their respective organization. Special Members may submit written proposals and criticism, which shall not be dismissed without reasonable cause. Upon approval, Special Members may be appointed to distinguished advisory roles, such as:
The aim of the United Karachi Movement is to solve the problems of the people of Karachi and their possible solutions. Therefore, initially, for the convenience of the people of Karachi, to identify the problems of Karachi, to find their possible solutions and solutions, after the initial organization, a permanent organization will be formed on the basis of the boundaries of all the existing districts of Karachi, the boundaries of the National Assembly and Provincial Assembly constituencies and the boundaries of the police stations, including the boundaries of different areas, so that with the cooperation of the district administration, the members of the National Assembly and the Provincial Assembly and the law enforcement agencies, the problems of the people can be solved as much as possible in accordance with the constitution and law.
